So yesterday was the end to my 3-day juice cleanse. I contemplated extending it, but my father in law advised against that. He, however, emphasized easing out of it properly.
I broke my juice fast with watermelon. I had a big serving. I think it’s one of the best choices to come off the juice diet as it is mostly liquid, so you are not shocking your body. I followed that up with some fresh out of the coconut water. And then some grapes. So I am back on solids now!
I was waiting for my husband at the airport right now, and I got hungry and I wasn’t able to plan my diet properly, so I ended up having a ripped berry smoothie from Booster juice.
I might have some dinner later with my husband, if I feel the need. But if I don’t, I might just call it a day today, as this smoothie was quite filling. To be honest, I don’t know if it was the best choice, because it does have frozen yogurt and I believe that is not natural sugar, and I really do prefer natural, but I was just in this situation and very busy and this was my best choice considering that I did get tempted. I was looking at their hardcore options, which were more natural, but my heart was set on ripped berry. It was delicious so no regrets.
I might come back later for some concluding thoughts on the 3-day juice cleanse but this is it for now.
