Yesterday, I made a decision to finalize my Daily Routine Checklist and share it on my blog. As I was in the process of this, I googled ‘how to discipline yourself to get up early in the morning no matter what’ and came across a very well-written post on ‘How to Discipline Yourself With 10 Habits’. This is something I have been trying to achieve for as long as I can remember and I know it is the single most important thing that will help me to accomplish everything I want in my life.
The first habit mentioned in this post is the one of gratitude – which is to appreciate what we have rather than constantly wanting what we don’t have. The blogger explained a numerous number of benefits that will come from doing this simple act everyday. I decided right away that I want to add gratitude to my daily routine. This thought has occurred to me in the past, and I’ve read this several times before, but it was never something that sticked since I didn’t have a Daily Checklist before that I was making a conscious effort to follow (which I am since today:)). Going forward, I will spend some time everyday writing out all the things I am grateful for. I will share that list here, read it everyday, and simply update it on a daily basis to include new things I feel grateful for at that time.
Today, I am grateful to be on this journey. I am grateful for having my Daily Routine Checklist finalized – something I know will take me a huge step closer to how I want my life to be. Thank you for reading and stay tuned for much more.
