I Am Grateful For…

As mentioned yesterday, a new habit that I want to create in my life is to write down all the things I am grateful for. Yesterday, I came up with one thing to be grateful for. Today I am going to add some things to the list and going forward, I will read this list everyday, and simply update it on a daily basis to include new things I feel grateful for at that time.

  1. Today, I am grateful to be on this journey. I am grateful for having my Daily Routine Checklist finalized – something I know will take me a huge step closer to how I want my life to be.
  2. I am grateful for my family.
  3. I am grateful for everything. Although, I don’t express this a lot, I do have some moments in my life, where I take a breath to just be grateful for e v e r y t h i n g.
  4. I am grateful for the privilege to be sitting here on my couch and having the time and the positivity to be working on this list.
  5. I am grateful for having this couch, a home, and everything else in my home. I am not too much of a materialistic person, in the sense that I am not constantly wanting things I don’t have. But I do buy a lot of things (without thinking twice), mostly things to use in my kitchen and I am grateful for this.
  6. I am grateful for a beautiful home with a beautiful spacious kitchen. I love cooking and if there’s one thing I wanted in the place where I would live (when I had my own space), it was to have a nice kitchen. I was okay with not having my own home, as long as I had a spacious and functional kitchen. And I am thankful that from the day that I got married, I have always had a nice space to cook.
  7. I am grateful for all my kitchen appliances, gadgets, etc. because of which I am able to prepare and cook food, something that gives me immense joy.
  8. I am grateful for having a husband to share my daily life (and food) with! 🙂
  9. I am grateful for today.
  10. I am grateful for my mom, who cooked dinner for me and I am grateful for my brother who came and dropped it off to my house. Love my fam ❤
  11. I am grateful for a comfortable bed to sleep in.
  12. I am grateful for my comforter which is keeping me warm right now.
  13. I am grateful for having a roof over my head.
  14. I am grateful for nature.
  15. I am grateful for my MacBook and my iPhone.
  16. I am grateful for my thoughts, knowledge, ideas, views, feelings, and positive emotions.
  17. I am grateful for my physical health.
  18. I am grateful for my emotional health.
  19. I am grateful for my mental health.
  20. I am grateful for my spiritual health.
  21. I am grateful for all of my experiences, past and present.
  22. I am grateful for life which allows me to have experiences.
  23. I am grateful for all the kind souls in my life and in the world. Sometimes the world seems like such a bad place to be in, until I think about all the genuinely good and kind people that I’ve come across.
  24. I am grateful for love and kindness.
  25. I am grateful for having discovered yoga and especially hot yoga – an activity that gives me the best feelings, immense joy, pleasure and happiness.
  26. I am grateful for having a life that allows me to feel feelings of happiness, joy, and pleasure.
  27. I am grateful for the positive feelings in my life right now. It took me a long time to shift my way of thinking and I am so grateful for this positive change and for all the thoughts in my head that have brought me to where I am today.
  28. I am grateful for having a blog, a place where I can pour my thoughts, feelings, ideas, knowledge, views, experiences, and positivity.
  29. I am grateful for coming across this idea of gratitude as a daily habit. It just teared me up while I am writing this list that I have so much to be grateful for and that I hardly ever give these things a second thought.
  30. I am grateful for being grateful and for gratitude.
  31. I am grateful for my marriage.
  32. I am grateful for my husband.
  33. I am grateful for my extended family.
  34. I am grateful for the loving, caring and kind people in my life.
  35. I am grateful for having food to eat everyday.
  36. I am grateful for the pleasant weather today.
  37. I am grateful for my kettle – which helps me prepare my warm lemon water everyday.
  38. I am grateful for my omega juicer – which helps me prepare fresh juice everyday.
  39. I am grateful for time.
  40. I am grateful for mindfulness.
  41. I am grateful for having the time to be able to eat and drink mindfully.
  42. I am grateful for sunshine.
  43. I am grateful for my dog – Mayhem for always keeping me company.
  44. I am grateful for the world and for mother earth.
  45. I am grateful for the stars, the sky, the sun and the moon.
  46. I am grateful for fruits and vegetables, which combined and juiced make the most delicious fresh juice I have ever had!! (1/4 lemon, 1 cara cara orange, 1 carrot, 1 beet, 1 stalk of celery… yummmmy!)
  47. I am grateful for a new week – week 4 of my 91 Day Challenge Journey.
  48. I am grateful for the people around me who make my life easier.
  49. I am grateful for gurbani and kirtan.
  50. I am grateful for having flexibility in my life.
  51. I am grateful for my arms, hands and fingers because of which I am able to function normally on a daily basis and which help me to complete all my daily errands ease-fully.
  52. I am grateful for my legs, feet and toes because of which I am able to walk.
  53. I am grateful for my back, neck and shoulders which help support my body and help me to function daily.
  54. I am grateful for my nose and my sense of smell.
  55. I am grateful for my eyes and my vision.
  56. I am grateful for my ears and my ability to hear.
  57. I am grateful for my mouth, my lips, my tongue and teeth and my ability to taste, eat and drink (and talk).
  58. I am grateful for my hair which is a beautiful gift from God.
  59. I am grateful for having a fully functional and capable body and body parts that come together and allow me to live and experience life.
  60. I am grateful for another new week – week 5 of my 90 Day Challenge.
  61. I am grateful for my new home.
  62. I am grateful for my husband’s hard work because of which I get to live an easier life than if he hadn’t have been such a hard worker.
  63. I am grateful for the warmth of my husbands hugs and cuddles.
  64. I am grateful for the steam room in my house. Steam followed by a COLD shower is so much fun!! And I am grateful to have discovered that. And it helps with workout recovery so that’s a bonus.
  65. I am grateful for a loving, caring and supportive family.
  66. I am grateful for having delicious and homemade meals to eat daily. Especially the ones cooked by my mom.
